Thank you

John,
My family and I wanted to thank you for your service. At such a young age your death was for a cause that impacted future generations beyond measure. My daughter who is 2 is sitting on my lap at this very moment. I bring this up because I ponder what would our country be without brave men/women like yourself? John we don't know all of our veterans but we owe you guys all. Thank for you for defending the land of the FREE with your bravery. God Bless you! One day I cant wait to shake your hand and give you another thanks until then I will share your name for others to know you. You may be gone but you are not forgotten <3

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL John Barca Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
