Thank you
You never met me, but you (personally) influenced my life beyond what you can know. Over two decades ago, I took a school trip to the Vietnam Memorial. I had been given your name by a relative who knew you from school. I looked up your name and saw the date of your passing. This alone was startling, because the date I visited, was May 9. This connection was enough to make me want to learn more about you. I realized how young you were. It put a face on the young men who served in Vietnam. Your life inspired me to make cards for the VA and to donate to organizations for Veterans. You are remembered, and your life impacted mine. Thank you for giving your all.
