I will be running in remembrance for Alfred Holden on this Memorial Day in 2023. https://www.wearblueruntoremember.org/ My son just commissioned in the Air Force last weekend and I am thankful for those that have come before him and sacrificed for the greater good. Alfred is a true hero.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush

Sgt Holden left Cannon AFB on the advance team of the Triple Nickel. I think of him and remember the day we were told of his death in Vietnam. Rest well. Phil Dorris 555CES red Horse 1966-67.

Dear Tsgt Alfred Holden, Thank you for your service with the 555th CE Squadron. Next is Independence Day, and there is no better time to honor you. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.
