My Little Brother
I never knew you as a soldier. You were still a kid when I left home to marry my Navy man. I'm proud of you for becoming such a man - a man who was willing to sacrifice his life for our freedoms. I remember when I got the call that you had been killed...you were only a few weeks away from returning from Viet Nam. We had dreams of being stationed near each other in Germany. It just didn't seem real. Now all these years later, I realize what I have missed - a life you would have lived well. See you in heaven, Little Brother!

Apollo Student Remembrance
Your smiling face made me think how lucky I am to be an American, I thank you and all the other men who risked and lost their lives. You and everybody else is in my prayers and I hope you are at peace up in heaven. To Paul A. Holck, a man I wish I knew in my life, you have my respect and all of America. I am a student at Apollo High School, hopefully I can make a noble sacrifice as this young man.
