THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

I thank you for your service and sacrifice. Looking at the younger men here on The Wall always upsets me. But I feel that I have to look at these brave young men who served our great country. Sometimes I do wonder how your lives would have been like had you lived. I wish your soul peace.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

Dear Sp5 Ronnie Hoffman, Thank you for your service as a Medical NCO. Thank you for the lives you saved. Happy Summer in heaven! Please watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

I can only remember a short time with you, but I was 7 when the Army Officers came to our home to tell my Mother of your sacrifice. If you were here today, I would tell you how proud I am to be your nephew and mostly how proud I am of you.
