We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Less We Forget

I never met you. I have only heard decades of stories from my Grand Mother and Father about you. Yet somehow every year I post something in your remembrance. I remember my Father your first cousin wearing your KIA bracelet until it wasn’t legible . I went to school with your niece never knowing we were related. I finally met Randy a few years ago. Gods speed Sir thank you for your service and sacrifice. You Will Not Be Forgotten!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Gary Stephen Hodges, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
