Thank You
Dear Sp4 Frank Hiteshue, Thank you for your service as a Food Service Specialist. Yesterday was Flag Day. There is no better way to respect the flag than to honor you all. Watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Frank Richard Hiteshue, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

For SP4 Frank Richard HITESHUE, USA...Penn's bravest of heroes who gave his life for all of us!!!!!!
He loved us so.
Every day, in a hundred ways, he told us so.
In honesty, in affection, he told us so.
He loved us so.
Every day, in a hundred ways, he showed us so.
With loyalty and bravery, he showed us so.
He was our defender, and he kept us free!
He took an oath to guard us, and fought for liberty!
He loved us so, and we should know.
For we loved him so.
Specialist Hiteshue, your sacrifice was NOT in vain. America is still the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave! Our flag still flies high! Not only in Penn, but ALL OVER OUR LAND! I honestly believe that Avonmore's own Jill Corey, whom I admire as one of my three top favorite songbirds (along with Julie Andrews and Dusty Springfield), would be proud of your service and sacrifice for our country! You have given all that mortality can give...you had lived up to the bywords of DUTY...HONOR...COUNTRY!
More than just mere words, they define us as Americans! Well done, be thou at peace!
