do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Thank You

Dear Cpl David Hinz, Thank you for your service as an Aircraft CNE/Weapons/DECM Systems Tech. Today is Flag Day. There is no better way to respect the flag than to honor you all. Watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Dad

I never had the chance to know you, for i was around three when you went into the service and just short of being 6 prior of that fatal day. The only fondest memory of you when I was three. Is when you came home on leave right before leaving to Vietnam. You took me go cart riding and I fell asleep during the ride.
There are so many things I wish I had the opportunity to say. Dad, you also have a beautiful granddaughter, who is now a young lady. We both had the chance to meet some of your fellow marines at an HMM165 Reunion, your grand daughter was around 5. It was a very emotional time for me for I remember so clearly the day we laid you to rest, and what went on in my mind during the reunion is that she was around the same as me on that day of the funeral .
All I can say is that I am so very proud of who you. What you have done for this country and the help you provided to your fellow marines. Life is so very short in which sometimes we take for granite and forget about whats important.
Your Son,
David
