Dear Sp4 Eugene Hingleton, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. This week is Flag Day, and there is no better way to respect the flag than respect all of you. Watch over the USA, it still needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels.

Always a really nice young man, his grandmother was married to my grand uncle. He lived right down the road. Right on the outskirts of Colmbia proper, a little place called Aurthurtown.. We went to school together. Was calm polite young man, a complete gentleman.always, I have a hard time accepting that he is gone. He was full of potential. Truly missed.

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
