Great friend, great memories!!!

Howard and I were roommates at WVU Forestry School. We had lots of fun together! I was two years ahead of him and left for the Army after graduation. Howard wanted to serve and left school to enlist. We communicated via letter and I learned from his picture in Life Magazine in 68/69 that he was KIA. His brother followed him in service and I would really like to make contact! My Special Forces Roommate

Dear Howard: You were the best!! Driving to the beach in your VW bug has always a fond memory. You were what we trained to be, a loyal, smart Special Forces medic. You went to the Fifth and I to the 6th. I have never forgotten you or your brother. God Bless You!!

Thank You

Dear Sgt Howard Hill, Thank you for your service as a Special Forces Qualified Medical NCO. Thank you for the lives you saved. Tomorrow is the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and we should remember all of you who served. Watch over the USA, it still needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels.

50 years

It seems impossible that 50 years have passed since Howard was killed in Vietnam. He was such a fine man. I learned a lot from him about how to live my life - even though we were only together for a short time. I will treasure those memories always.
