PFC Charles John Hildenbrand served with A Company, 4th Battalion, 47th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division, US Army Vietnam. He was killed during Operation Concordia I by multiple fragmentation wounds (Coffelt Database).

The Final Bridge

Charles is buried at the Chardon Municipal Cemetery, far west entrance, section next to veterans memorial, 1st row in from the west (service road), 6th column in from the north (veteran's memorial).
