THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Dear Cpl Patrick Higgins, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. I researched you on your 51st anniversary, sad. Memorial Day just passed when we honor and remember you. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels.

Dear CPL Patrick Albert Higgins, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

Oh Pat, you were a good friend to all you knew. Especially to my cousin Bill and through him to me. I still feel so blessed to have known you those many years ago. You touched my life with your gentleness and it has stayed with me. I will remember you with love and honor all of my life.

I never knew you, but you were my husband, Ralph Hunter's, best friend. Our youngest son is named after you; David Patrick Hunter. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
