MY BROTHER- MY HERO

There will never be enough words to express how much I have missed you in my life. I knew you always wanted to grow up to be a soldier! You watched every army movie and collected every toy soldier you got your hands on! Who knew you would make the choice so early in life to enlist and follow your dream of being a MARINE . You made mama so proud yet so sad as only a mother of a son (only son) could feel when that son is going to war. We shed many tears and prayed many prayers for your safe return. We also shed so many tears and asked so many why’s when you made the ultimate sacrifice. I truly believe you are home now and mama and your sisters Elsie and Delores have journeyed home to meet you. You are and will always be my hero! Twenty precious years I was blessed to be on this earth with you as my precious only brother. Now, I look to the day when I can see your face smiling with a smile like no other! I will be seeing you PFC VINCENT NORVELL BANKS -MY BROTHER-MY HERO
LOVING AND MISSING YOU EACH AND EVERYDAY …. your baby sister-Evelyn PS -Thank you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice!!
