My Brother

Buster, as I sit here and read ,my heart is sad and my tears continue to fall. Ten years just didn't seem long enough to spend with you. As the years have continued to pass, I have learned to appreciate the decision you made to join the service. You were so BRAVE at such a young age and i am forever grateful to you. My heart misses you everyday and i what to say how proud i am to be your sister. Corp. Oscar King Higginbotham Jr. -the soldier, I salute you! Buster - i love and miss you and i am so proud to call you my brother!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Oscar K Higginbotham Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

I miss him and will never let his memory die. He was the best brother anyone could ever ask for. I know he will be in heaven waiting for me. I love you Bubby!
