"Other's Pain"
Nothing begins, and nothing ends
That is not paid with moan;
For we are born in other's pain,
And perish in our own.

You Are Always Remembered
There are not many days that I don't think of you good buddy. We had a lot of fun when we were younger and there wasn't any darned Viet Nam. I wish I knew you were there. It's funny you were only 30 miles north of me and we never knew, and to this day that bothers me a lot. I will always remember you good buddy. I wish we had more time together growing up, the time we had wasn't enough. My prayers are with you. Tony

In Rememberance
I didn't know Gene Hicks personally. I didn't go to school with him in east Providence. I didn't live next door or know his wife Charlene, but I have gratitude and respect fro him. He fought for his country and died at the age of 24. I will never know how it feels to say good bye to my family knowing that I might never see them again. I have respect for this man that I didn't even know and hold it there in my heart not for just him, but every person who had the courage to give their lives for generationds to come.
