THE WALL OF FACES

Visited Vietnam wall last night to pay my respects to panel 19E, Row 72. Richard August Hein of Vernal, Utah (my Grandmother's brother) is the name to the left of your family member Lance Corporal Carman K. Hicks on the wall.
I offer my deepest condolences to your family for their loss of Carman and visited them on the wall in June 2002 and 5 - 6 March 2023.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Dear Lcpl Carman Hicks, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 52nd anniversary just passed, sad. Today is the day that was originally set aside as Memorial Day when we honor you all. Please watch over the USA. It stills needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.
