NEVER Forgotten

Rarely a day goes by that I don't view my flag and think of you and all our childhood memories together. You remain forever in my heart and mind. As we celebrate our 55th high school reunion in Anacortes this summer your name will be brought again for all our surviving classmates to pause and thank you for your ultimate sacrifice.

Thank You

Dear Sgt Russell Hibler, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It was just Memorial Day when we honor you. I could not post then because this site was overwhelmed. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels.

50 years

Cranston, This will be our 50th class reunion this July, you will be missed maybe a little more after all these years. As we get older your classmates and those of us who served want to thank you for being our friend and fellow Vet. You'll be missed but not forgotten. I'll always remember roll call in PE class, Hibler, Holton & Hoots

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Russell Cranston Hibler, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
