You have been joined in your rest this year with your sweet momma and brother Jr. I am sure the reunion was wonderful. Their sadness from your loss bore with both of them throughout the many years. May you all Rest In Peace.

I am amazed that it has been 56 years since you gave the supreme sacrifice and died for your country. Rest assured that you will never be forgotten. I am now 70 years old, and you my cousin will be forever "young". I have shared your story with generations of our family and you are a REAL HERO.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.
