We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Wish we had met.

Richard, i married your brother Dave in 82. I never got to meet you, but heard so much about you. I too was military. Your brother did what your dad did and married an English girl. You look so much like your brother and your sisters Darleen and Angela. You all look like your mother who diued very soon after you did. She is buried near you in Califiornia. You are not forgotten. Thank You

Dear PFC Richard Hertzler, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. It is almost Memorial Day when we honor you. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your courage. Rest in peace with the angels....

A ride in honor of R. Hertzler

My boyfriend and I just rode the Memorial Day West Coast Thunder motorcycle ride with his dog tag on the handlebars. Thank you for your service and we look forward to you riding with us in the future.

picture of rich

I had put in a remembrance several years ago and it disappeared so i'm doing it again, here is picture of rich in one of our platoon pictures, i have cropped so just see him. it is a shame that more people have not signed and left remembrance for rich,
I was on R&R when him died, and he was the only one in our platoon who died the year i was there. we were very lucky platoon.. will all way remember him.
