I wore his bracelet so long there was no silver, only brass. I visited DC with my wife and two boys and was able to get an etching of your name. It was quite emotional for me. I so hoped you would make it home. Thank you Henry. As a son of a Japanese POW, I thank you for your service.

Smoke was my 1st cousin and a year older. He played with me at the farm when we were kids. I have seen his name on the wall and have a rubbed copy of it.

I worked with Hank Herrin when we were all in VAP-61 ( home port NAS Agana Guam) . He is in my thoughts often and for sure every New Year’s Day! Never to be forgotten! I was a.so deployed with him to RAAF Townsville Australia!
