Bronze Star Medal Award

Private Rudolph V. Hernandez was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for exemplary courage under fire. He served as an Infantryman (Airborne Qualified) and was assigned to B CO, 2ND BN, 503RD INFANTRY, 173RD ABN BDE.
