THE WALL OF FACES

I was humbled today to learn of my third cousin on my mom's paternal side. It is with great honor to know that we had a relative that was a part of history and gave the ultimate sacrifice. It is with the upmost honor to have learned this about Demetrio. My mom Paula Prieto, daughter of Isidro Hernandez, recalled some details of him and added that he was always very kind and always generous to her. She remembered some details of her Tio"Toni" Antonio and also recalled Demetrio's sister Paula.
Thank you to those of you who posted rememberance of Demetrio. This helped to confirm he was indeed her second cousin. I now can share an image and some information of one of my relatives that served in the armed forces to my children and my students. Demetrio L. Hernandez's legacy will continue to be rememebered.
