You are Remembered

Herman
I remember being told that you were killed the day I returned from my R&R to Singapore. I felt terrible because usually when either. Of our wildcat teams went out, you would flash that Kahuna you. Wore around your neck and we each would say the Kahjna was going to get you. Too this day 54 years later I still feel sad that I wasn’t there the day your team went out.
Rest easy my Brother Aloha until we meet again.

Sky Soldier

My brother served before you as a Sky Soldier with Co A 1/503rd 173rd (Separate) in 66-67, came home and sent back over with the 82nd during TET. He never made it home. RIP sir as a paratrooper myself as well. A/ATW
