We Will Remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

You are remembered
Gerald,
I never had the opportunity to know you. You passed before I was born. My only connection to you is that we are both Marines and we share the same birthday of June 21. I often wonder how you are remembered. Did you have family, a wife, or perhaps children? I would just like you to know that although we never met, I remember you. Every Memorial Day and on our birthday, I share a beer with you and reflect on how you selflessly gave away all of your tomorrows for my today. I will always remember your sacrifice and thank you for your service. Semper Fi.
