THE WALL OF FACES

CAPT Henn,

We share a last name. Although I am from Colorado, and my extended family from Nebraska, I can’t shake the feeling that we still share some heritage. I hope that the family treated you well, since I know they raised you well owing to your commissioning as an officer in the U.S. Army.

My only hope is that my service, in the Navy, may come to some degrees equivalent to that which you faced in Vietnam, and that I may serve this country as well as you have.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Chick was my battery commander for about 6 months. Sad when he went to Nam and sadder yet when told he was killed. Great guy loved his dog too. Lt Melvin fellow OCS graduate Ft Sill

Thank you for your service as a Training Officer - General Staff. Your 50th anniversary just passed, sad. Yesterday was Mother's Day. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in Peace with the angels.
