Ground Casualty
SN Curtis L. Hendrickson was a Seaman serving with River Assault Squadron-13 (RIVRON-13), Task Force 117 (TF 117). On June 7, 1969, SN Hendrickson reportedly was on his way to the chow hall when he fell between two pontoons moored on the Vam Co Dong River in Long An Province, RVN. Hendrickson was drowned in the incident. His body was recovered. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]
