honoring you...
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You were born one day after me and died at 21 years of age. I am now 73 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You
Dear Cpl Rodney Helsel,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Today is the 44th anniversary of the end of the war. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in Peace with the angels.

Thanks Buddy
I'll always remember you. Thanks for sharing your canteen with me the day before you were hit. I am glad that you are mentioned on the wall 3 times. Once on the date of casualty, once on the date of death and once as a misspell. Your kindness prevented me from becoming a heat casualty. You deserve the extra mention and I always look for your names every time I see the wall.
