Dear Sp4 Danial heiderich,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I always knew that I was named after you. But until today I didn't know the complete story of what happened. Dad seldom speaks of his time in Vietnam so I never really asked if he knew your story. Thank you for your sacrifice!! Sorry I never got to meet you.
