Thank You

Dear Msgt Thomas Heideman,
Thank you for your service with the 21st Special Operations Squadron. I am glad you were identified in 2001. Welcome home. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

THE REMAINS OF KNIFE 33 by John Cook

Thomas Heideman and Craig Schiele were two airmen from the Chicago area, were declared dead in 1970 after their helicopter, code name Knife 33, crashed in the jungles of Southeast Asia. At the time, the men were soldiers on a clandestine mission during the CIA's secret war in Laos. This is their story! http://www.referencetone.com/Knife33.pdf
