The account in which this Marine lost his life is remarkable in its intensity. Go to the library (out of print book) and get “Operation Buffalo: The USMC Fight for the DMZ” by Keith Nolan.

Common Bond

I did not know you or your family, however; I believe you were with my father that day and I hope your together in heaven. May you rest in peace, and may God go with your family.

Ole Friend

I remember you in the pay line near me at Corps School in San Diego because our last names started with a "B". You were a happy person then. I was saddened that we lost you over there where we both served. My prayers are have been for you since your death.

Your friend
