Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your friend Butch is touching and harkens back to the carefree days of our youth. Sadly, those days ended much too soon for you. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. It's the 44th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, sad. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Your Spirit is ever present with me! We did it all as teenage buddies, volunteer fire fighters, high school football team mayes, cruise nights at McDonald's with your dad's car, snow shoveling, paper routes, on and on and on! You are still truly missed! I'll see you again someday! Butch
