A great cousin!
When I was young,,we visited Uncle Joe and Sarah Hays. My grandmother, Elizabeth Hays Taylor, my grandfather and I traveled to Florida! We stayed at Uncle Joe’s house, he was Johnny Dad! I got out and went to the lake and almost drowned! Maggie gave me a whipping! So when Johnny got home , as a teen, took me down to the lake and gave me swimming lessons and took me out in the water on his small sail boat! I’ll never will forget his kindness nor the graciousness of their family ! And don’t forget their bulldog, Sassy! He married a beautiful woman named Lauren, I believe! I wish someone from his family would let me know of the family’s whereabouts and how they are doing!
