Kilo 3/4

My uncle CPL Ferg Carroll was KIA on 6/18/1968 on Hill 689 Phoui Noui in Quang Tri near Khe Sanh. He was also in K/3/4 since October 67. Before that he was in A/1/6. It is probably a long shot but does anyone in his company have more details on what happned that day or the time leading up to it?

I attached a link to the 3rd Bn 4th Marines Facebook page. I posted all of the pictures Ferg sent home. I have no names for anyone in the pictures besides Ferg himself. Maybe someone on here can help identify some of them and the stories behind them. If anyone has more pictures of Ferg or just general pictures of his company please send them to me.

Thank you for all the sacrifices you and your brothers have made to protect this country.

Remembering The Veterans

The Vietnam War is an important war for students to study because it is important for them to obtain knowledge on topics such as war. The Vietnam War is important to learn about because it was very important at that time and is still important to the history of the United States. The Vietnam War can help us to learn from our mistakes to better the future of mankind. The Vietnam War played a significant role in the history of America and its importance should not be overlooked. It is a very tragic event to lose the people we love and our hearts go out to the American Veterans.
