"Hawk"
I flew with Bill "Hawk" Hawkins in 1970. We had a mission where three flight members received a purple heart and I received a DFC. We were called the purple heart gang. He was an exceptional soldier and person. We all miss him deeply.

Thank You
Dear Sgt William Hawkins,
Thank you for your service as a Medical NCO. Thank you for the lives you saved. It is Easter week and Passover. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
