Young boy who lost a friend
When I was about 15 teen I worked with Ricky at my family's business in the Bronx NY Hudson Carpet around 1967
He worked hard and was a good friend to me. We were all so sad to hear that he was killed in action.
I just wanted to let family and friends know how much he was loved by all,
He was such a nice guy, and was so good to me at age of about 15 teen.
All my love to his family sorry for your loss

Thank You
Dear Sgt Richard Hawco,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. Today is Easter Sunday and Passover. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
