Thank You

Dear LTJG Roy Haviland,
Thank you for your service as an Unrestricted Line Officer (Pilot)on the U.S.S. RANGER. You are still MIA, Please come home! Your 71st birthday was 2 days ago, happy birthday. Today is Easter Sunday and Passover. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Be at peace.

Big Brother Roy

Dear Roy: Been thinking about you a lot this Veteran's Day. Can't believe it's almost 46 years since your passing. I still miss you and always will. You have missed so much of living. I always imagine your reaction to today's tehnology. What you would think of cell phones and holding them in the palm of your hand. The state of politics in this country today.

You have missed two of your nieces getting married. Just this Labor Day our youngest daughter Aimee got married in Nashville where she lives. It was a beautiful wedding. Amanda got married 2 years ago. Our oldest Elizabeth swears she is staying single. Waiting for a few grandchildren before we are too old to enjoy them.

There are quite a few remembrances posted. It's a bit hard to read them, but they are greatly appreciated. I love you very much. Please give Mom and Dad a hug from me.
