True Marine
Only got to read about you, but it says you were a true warrior and more handsome than Elvis Presley. Thank you for your service, Marine.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL James E Ball III, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

Tribute to My Brother, Ned Ball
I will always remember my brother, Ned, because he
taught me that family is the most important thing to
all of us. I could always look up to my older
brother because I usually ended up getting all his
teachers. I know he didn't like it, but sometimes
we double dated. He would introduce me to his fraternity
brothers and sometimes I dated them. I could be a brat
when I wanted to. I used to brag about my grades to him
because I made better grades than he did. I still miss
his smile and the way he made fun of my silly girlfriends.
I remember going to beach parties with him to Merry Point
in Newport News, before it became a private beach.
I will always miss him and love him.
Love, your sister Sandra
