Thank you for your service s an Infantryman. Your 71st birthday is next week, happy birthday. It is Holy Thursday. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Always Ready
Charles (Chuck) was an amazing guy. He was assigned to my squad in 1st Platoon, C company, 1/5th Mech. Infantry, 25th Division. We became really good friends and there wasn't anything he couldn't do in the field. He was brave, steady, loyal, and always ready. He is truly missed and not ever far from my thoughts.
