honoring you...

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Robert Harris,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Your 72nd birthday is this month, happy birthday. Your 51st anniversary is in 3 days, sad. It is Lent, which is a time of preparation. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Good times

I will not forget all the times you made me laugh when I was over your house on Hillside or Greenwood visiting your sisters. You would always spend some time with us (annoying that we were) to makes us feel important. And we did!
