do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

To a brave soldier, brother and uncle.

I never got the chance to meet you but your sister, my mother, Elizabeth Cook (Baldwin) loved you very much and had told her sons about you and how you served in the military for our country. We have come to know who you were through her and have the such great respect for you. It is an honor knowing that we are a part of your family and live in this great country that you served, fought and sacrificed for. We love you very much uncle.
Thank you for your service.
