To Put A Face With A Name

Dear Edward, to honor your memory and the sacrifice you made for our country I want to make sure your photo will be displayed on your birthday each and every year when the Education Center is completed, so it is with great pride and humility that I post this remembrance and picture of you. You are not forgotten and remain in the hearts of many all these years later. You have been designated to be one of God's special angels, along with the love of my life, who also sacrificed his life during this war 45 years ago. God Bless You, Edward, for being who you were and for all you did--we live in freedom to this day thanks to heroes like you.

My Friend and Comrad

I would like to say I was shocked to hear of your death and I had planned on going to visit your parents while I was on leave from Nam in December 67'and January 68'. In all honesty I could not go after that. You were one of the finest officers I have ever served under. You were a little too Gung Ho for me but I would have, and did follow you in combat no matter where. We lost a lot of good friends but they can never take away my memories of all the good times too. The pain, the losses, and the happy times too. Seems like there never was enough of those times. God Bless You, and I shall never forget you. Respectfully, Sgt, Timothy L. Martin ( Sgt. Marty )

Thank You Lieutenant

As a fellow Buckeye, I say "THANK YOU"

As a Veteran, I say "JOB WELL DONE, LIEUTENANT"

As an American, "YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN"

And as a Believer, "YOUR SPIRIT IS ALIVE--AND STRONG"

Again, thank you Lieutenant, for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and most holy sacrifice, given to this great country of ours!

REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MY FRIEND
