honoring you...

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Rest In Peace MY BROTHER!

Did not know about this web site until a friend of mine posted it on Facebook today! I only hope that this photo will bring some closure to Curtis' family. This photo was taken in the early morning hours after that ground attack the night before.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Curtis Harris,
Thank you for your service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. It is Lent, which is a time of preparation. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
