You are in my prayers today

I purchased my memorial bracelet about 7 years ago ,Finding the chosing the name John Hardy,I was born a Hardy from lompoc CA my dad was in the airforce and I always wanted to buy one when I was young in thr 70's at the airfore base open house they had ever year ,no realizing that today I would find it again today put it on and become overwhelming of the significance and deep meaning of this memorial I now wear, his family not knowing what happened to their beloved son, husband, children. God bless this man's soul and bless his family with peace. Knowing and seeing his face ,there are tears streaming down my face for him. I will continue to wear this and say a little prayer everytime I look at it. Thank you for your service and bravery. Ann

HE IS REMEMBERED

I, too, wore Captain Hardy's name bracelet when I was in my teens in Minnesota. I have saved it all these years and looked for it today on Veteran's Day, after reading The Women by Kristin Hannah where she talks about the POW bracelets. I'm glad I found it safely in my old lockbox where I kept my most special things. I recited his name every day all those years ago as I put the bracelet on each day. I am glad to finally find this picture of him. My cousin died in Vietnam in December 1969. We must never forget them.

You will always be remembered.

Thank you for your service to our country. I have your bracelet and have visited the memorial wall and found your name. I think of you and your family often especially on Veterans Day and still wear the bracelet in remembrance of you. You will always be remembered.
