Dear Sgt Stephen J Harber

I sit in history class and learn about the Vietnam war. I wonder how your family must be feeling and how hard it was and still is for them to think you didn't return home. I never knew you, but I know my grandpa Adrian Fisch spent his life after his tours trying to find you. Thank you for your service, and I wish I could welcome you home.

I Remember

As I remember my high school graduation 50 years ago I also remember Stephen whose name I wore on my memorial bracelet throughout college. Several years ago I learned that he is still MIA. I send my deepest sympathies to his family and I thank them for the ultimate sacrifice. Gone but not forgotten.

Not forgottten

I made yet another move and your bracelet goes with me. I have never looked you up in hopes that if I didn't I would find that you were happy and healthy. Alas, you made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Two of my sons, one brother, and a nephew have all served in the Army. God bless you and your family. May your sacrifice be remembered and not be in vain.
