I remember you my friend

Dave was one of my closest friends in Fargo. He got in the Army just before me. He went to Nam in 1967. I just so happened that when I went there it was the same unit Dave was in. He was killed shortly before I arrived in Nam. I sure do miss all the wild times we had in Fargo. He was very special.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 David Alan Haraldson, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

In Memory of David Alan Haraldson

I knew Davy in Fargo, North Dakota where he grew up. We both worked at the Crown Drive In. Davy always had a smile on his face and whenever you were with him he made you feel special. He always made me happy! Davy flew out from Hector Airport in the spring of 1966 and was killed a year later. He was a very special person in my life and I hold my memories always in my heart! I will always love him.
