Bracelet
When I was 6 in 1968, I wore a bracelet for a service member in Viet Nam. I now live in Nashville, Tennessee and am a 2nd Vice Commander for American Legion Post 290 in Hendersonville, Tennesse. I searched for a Viet Nam veteran who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I was assigned Dwight Adams PFC. I am learning about him and his family. Thank you for sacrifice. Dwight is in always my thoughts and prayers.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
