my brother in arms my cousin
charley and i were in the woods in back of his home shooting 22 cal riles , we ran out of things to shoot soooo, penny,nickel, dimes became are targets charley shot a dime of a tree , it rickashade of off the tree and hit him it the stomach , a perfect hole , i still have the dime, we where station in vietnam the same year

Staff Sergeant Charles Edward Hann was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to D CO, 4TH BN, 31ST INFANTRY, 196TH INFANTRY BDE, AMERICAL DIV.
