honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear Sgt Ralph Hampton,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Today is the last day of winter. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

A Remembrance from the Southern University Class of 1968
Ralph was a member of the Southern University Class of 1968. As we observe our 50th Reunion, we stop to remember Ralph. His Kappa Alpha Psi frat brothers still recall the good times they had together. We still mourn for him. He was taken too soon, before he had a chance to marry, have children, really experience life.
