THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...

Captain Thomas Ralph Hamman was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight. He served as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot and was assigned to the 18TH SPECIAL OPS SQDN, 56TH SPECIAL OPS WING, 7TH AF.

Dear Captain Thomas Hamman,
Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

We were engaged in college.Since then,no one has touched me the way Tom did.He was the love of my life-hope he had some happiness along the way-thank you for our moments of love and friendship=you will be with me forever
