Ralph was a real force to contend with on the field. Many including myself walked away bruised. I was truly sorry to hear of his fate.

I remember Ralph as a proud and happy lover of football. A real competitor. He was fiercely loyal to his team and school. I know the same strong will and dedication he used to defend his quarterback was used to defend his country well. We were only boys.
